John Gubby (otherwise John Gooby, otherwise John Goby) guilty of the murder of William Harben, by striking him with a stick, in the parish of Christchurch on 2nd December 1803.  Jonathan Harben guilty of feloniously, wilfully and of his malice aforethought being present, aiding, helping, wholly comforting, assisting and maintaining John Gubby in the commission of the murder of his father.  Their bodies were, on the following day, hanged in chains at Parley, 4 miles from Ringwood.
